Letter of re-dedication
 

    As the conservative candidate for Texas’ highest elected office, and proclaiming our campaign for national office, I want to rededicate our commitment to a multi-cultural,  multi-ethnic, and multi-religious American society.   
   Neoconservatism  (the political ideology that has dominated U.S. politics since the disgrace of the Clinton administration) and its roguish and diabolical adherents (Vice President Cheney, U.S. Representative Tom DeLay, and Texas Governor Rick Perry) have developed a provocatory prejudice in domestic and foreign policy.  Such obstruction threatens democracy and is UN-American.
  Collectively their lies and intimidation betray and destroy our goals and ideals which America’s Founding Fathers so boldly stated------When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for… people…to assume among the powers of the earth, the equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them ……

  We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights………

  Governments are instituted---deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed….

 

    We the people…do ordain this Constitution for the United States of America.  

    Article VI ……no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office of public Trust under the United States….

   Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, of prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

 

      Seven score and three years ago President Lincoln wrote ---Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth…… a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal……Now  ( some eleven score and ten years later) we are engaged in a great …war testing whether that nation…  or any… so conceived and so dedicated can long endure………

   It is for us to be dedicated to the great task remaining before us………that this nation under God shall have a new birth of freedom , and that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth. . . . .
 

     Great nations do not betray the least and most vulnerable ….nor deny a voice to them.         America’s destiny, … indeed, my own call that Texas become a “Beacon of Liberty,” (as has already been addressed) demands that we condemn and reprimand those who would engage in “hate” speech and misuse Federally regulated broadcast frequencies………the Pat Robertsons and the John Hagees …
     Great nations neither abstain nor abdicate and blame others for their own shortcomings and biased predisposition..      America, more than other nations, can bring forth a ‘renewed spirit’ to re-visit and re-evaluate 20th century history re: the United Nations, the Holy Land, and the State of Israel and exorcise those demons and have the courage, with judgment and reason and the benefit of hindsight…… to redress one of civilization's oldest dilemmas.
