Mr Smith, How can one lure Christian voters with one breath, and call for the disarming of Israel in the other???? Have you really read the Koran? (We have a 1946 one. My husband lived in Saudi Arabia for 7 years.) Even Muslim children are taught the 'importance' of deleting all Jews from planet earth. Israel is one small piece of property about the size of Vermont, surrounded by about 80 million acres occupied by people who seek her destruction! If any nation has a valid reason for a strong defense, it is Israel!!! Although a Christian America has always accepted Muslim freedom-of-worship, a Muslim controlled America would not tolerate Christian freedom-of-worship! I believe in the Muslims' rights and freedoms, but not at the expense of any other peoples or religions, especially Israel! I do not wish to re-elect Rick Perry, but I do hope that our next Governor will not grieve God by failing to endorse America's alliance with and defense of Israel. One quick glance at Genesis 12:3 will reveal God's abiding love for Israel; and also reveal why America has known prosperity like no nation in recorded history, since May 16, 1948 when America recognized Israel as a nation...first in 2000 years for Israel! In the last half of that Genesis verse God's words make it clear that the day America turns her back on Israel...America is history! God has blessed us because we have 'blessed' Israel, but He can very quickly reverse that! Please, while you are being tolerant of others, include the "peculiar treasure unto God"...Israel.
