I have met Dr. Bobby Welch,  President of the Southern Baptist Convention during his visit at Great Hills Baptist Church in Austin, and asked for his prayers regarding my (our) state of Texas's struggle to come to terms with the arrogant conduct of Rick Perry.

       I am communicating with the religious community here in Texas, including the Archdiocese of Texas and the U.S.Conference of Catholic Bishops about this matter and others.......re: the "essential role of government " and/or "role of the church"  in such matters as immigration/border security and school finance.

      The trust of the 'body politic' has been forsaken by Rick Perry's presence in the Governor's Mansion....turning Texan against Texan.

   TEXAS NEEDS GOD!  WE MUST CAMPAIGN TO BRING GOD BACK TO TEXAS!
